It is Christmas Day. The end of the year is approaching in a small town on the outskirts of Portugal. In an abandoned house lives Vicente, seventeen years old, together alongside his little brother Nino, who is ten. The brothers do not seem to remember their mother, but it is clear that they never want to reveal the secret that surrounds their father's continuous absences, not even when one day it seems that he has gone away to never return. The only one with whom they share the truth is Clara, Vicente's girlfriend. However, this is not the only secret in the family.
