Brakes

'Brakes' is a dark comedy that doesn't hesitate in dealing with the rawest parts of relationships. The film follows nine different couples, starting at a point where their relationships are breaking apart only to focus on how they each fell in love in the first place. The stories will be completely different, yet at the same time, they will share something fundamentally the same. Each story will take place in London, showing us see the city in a way we've never seen before. 'Brakes' is Mercedes Grower's début as screenwriter and director and she will also appear in the movie. The main characters are Elliot (Julian Barratt) and Maeve (Kelly Campbell). The crew is completed by Julia Davis, Noel Fielding, Roland Gift, Paul McGann and Steve Oram.
