Plot

Buffy Summers is the typical teenager. She attends the Hemery High School in Los Angeles, she's studying in her senior year, and she's a member of the school's cheerleading team. Her goal in life is to get married to a movie star, while going with her shopping friends. While Buffy enjoys a banal life, surrounded by friends with money and smug, along with her boyfriend Jeffrey. One day her life will be interrupted when she meets a mysterious man named Merrick, who reveals that she is the chosen one and is a vampire slayer. Her destiny is to kill vampires while Merrick acts as an assistant, whose duty is to guide and train her. Although the teenage initially rejects her destiny, she will soon discover that she has the ability to defeat vampires. With the help of an eccentric teenage named Pike, Buffy will face Lothos, the vampire king, who threatens to cause terror in the city. The young vampire slayer will also have the challenge of living a double life, on the one hand as a superheroine defender of Humanity and, on the other, as a high school girl who has to deal with exams and with the typical problems of adolescence. A film produced five years before the television phenomenon, Joss Whedon created the universe of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' with this film, which was a moderate success at the box office.
