'By Our Selves' dives into the journey of John Clare who walked from Epping Forest to Northamptonshire.

The film focuses on two figures, sometimes Andrew Kötting, sometimes Toby Jones who plays the middle-aged man John Clare. As channeled, in its way, the psychic wound that is exposed by Clare he will feel increasingly alone, between the two communities and Epping Forest Haven Hospital Northamptonshire.

The film also has Simon Kövesi, David Aylward, Eden Kotting, Iain Sinclair, Alan Moore and Freddie Jones.
