Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc

Denji was a demon hunter who worked for the yakuza to pay off the debt left behind by his parents. However, in a betrayal, the yakuza killed him. Before he lost consciousness, Denji's chainsaw demon dog, Pochita, made a deal with him that saved his life. This is the origin of Chainsaw Man, the fusion between the two. 

In the midst of a great war fought between demons, hunters, and hidden enemies, now Reze, a young woman he meets in a café after a date with Makima, the woman of his dreams, bursts in to turn Denji's already complicated world upside down. He will have to face the deadliest battle of all: the battle of love, in a world where survival knows no rules. 

Chainsaw Man arrives for the first time on the big screen, with an epic adventure that is not lacking in action and will follow the story of the original anime series and the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto: ''Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc'', a Japanese animated film of fantasy, dark comedy, and plenty of action.  

This is a direct sequel to the first season of the anime series. The film adaptation is produced by MAPPA, and directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, with a script by Hiroshi Seko.

The film premiered in Japan on September 19, 2025, by Tōhō. The film also premiered internationally by Columbia Pictures.
