Children Of The Snow Land

When you live in the villages that are scattered in Nepal you have to make an important and difficult decision: if you want to receive an education, you have to give up your family. And, unfortunately, if you decide that you do not want to separate yourself from your relatives, you have no option to receive a minimum education. 'Children of the Snow Land' is a documentary that inspires those who see it, showing how they live their day to day family members who suffer and sacrifice everything for their younger members.

Directed by Zara Balfour and Marcus Stephenson, this documentary footage features the appearance of Nima Gurung, Sangpo Lama and Tsering Deki Lama among others. They portray this way of life and the hard decision making so that all outside viewers can understand the situation.
