Cinderella

New adaptation of the famous fairytale 'Cinderella' by Charles Perrault. Lily James stars as Ella, a young girl who lives happily with her mother and father, until her mother dies from a disease. Her father asks his daughter years after if he can try again to be happy, marrying a powerful widow, and Ella agrees. When her father also dies, she finds herself alone in her family's house, living with a woman who treats her like a servant and two stepsisters nearly as mean as her stepmother. Things seem to be hopeless until she meets a young man named Kit in the woods. She doesn't know that he's the prince, but she'll try everything to meet him again, with a little help of magic.
