Sofía is about to turn ten when her life takes an unexpected turn: her father dies in an accident that changes everything. Suddenly, the home she knew transforms into an emotional and economic battlefield, a reality that a family never wants to face

Now she lives alone with her mother, Juana, who tries to hold herself and her daughter together, while the thin line separating stability from poverty begins to fade. Juana, consumed by pain and pressure, does everything she can to maintain the routine, the meals, the school, the calm... but within her grows an abyss of sadness and anxiety.

Sofía, for her part, deals with absence, confusion, and fear from her childhood world, searching for meaning where there are only silences. Her only refuge is the school theater: the rehearsals for the end-of-year play become her safe space, a place where she can imagine other lives, other endings.
