Dalloway

'La residencIA' centers its plot on Clarissa, a novelist in the midst of a creative halt, due to a blockage. To try to escape this loop of non-creation, Clarissa moves to a prestigious residency for artists at the forefront of innovation. Here, she begins to interact with Dalloway, her virtual assistant, in whom she finds support, someone to talk to, a confidant. However, gradually, this artificial intelligence will exhibit increasingly intrusive and suffocating behavior, causing Clarissa's unease and suspicion to escalate. Other residents begin to feel the same as Clarissa, that constant surveillance and pressure. Nevertheless, the protagonist is not even sure of what she sees: are they just imaginations or paranoia, or are they really threatened by this innovative technology?

Yann Gozlan directs 'Dalloway' and alongside him, in the script, we have Nicolas Bouvet and Thomas Kruithof, based on a novel by the writer Tatiana de Rosnay. Cécile De France takes on the role of that Clarissa overwhelmed by the AI; she is joined by figures such as Lars Mikkelsen, Anna Mouglalis, Frédéric Pierrot, Freya Mavor, Pili Groyne, and Serge Swysen. 

'Dalloway' is a co-production between France and Belgium. It is distributed by Vercine and hits the big screen on February 27, 2026.
