Libby Day (Charlize Theron) witnessed the murder of her family when she was seven years old and she had to testified against her brother when he is tried for that horrible crime. Twenty five years later, Libby is still trying to forget those events and she is barely broke, so when the Kill Club, a secretive, crime-solving team contacts her to uncover the truth she spots a chance of earning some money.
