Plot
Elena (Victoria Jorge) has passed away, and her childhood friends have gathered at her funeral to remember her. Each of them is terribly shocked by the sudden news, but Adela (Chiara Hourcade) is the most affected one. Her dearest friend's death is something she cannot overcome: she cries in the car, struggles to cope with her daily life, and every time she sees flowers, she remembers her.
Adela travels back in time in a moment that borders on the dreamlike, returning ten years to the past. It is autumn, and Elena is still alive. The two friends reunite within this dream and take advantage of their last moments together making all sorts of plans. They dance to the music, go to the beach, and enjoy each other's company. However, Adela must awaken from her fantasy at some point.
Filmmakers Ana Guevara and Leticia Jorge direct and write 'Don't You Let Me Go', a Uruguayan film that is a candidate for the Goya Award for Best Ibero-American Film. The title has been made with very little budget, as it features a very small technical team. Eva Dans and Fernando Amaral complete the main cast with their characters, Luci and the guard, respectively. The film is produced by Bocacha Films. It still does not have a release date or distributor in Spain.
