Down to Earth

Biographical documentary directed by Renata Heinen and Rolf Winters. 'Down to Earth' tells the story of a family with three children who traveled the world looking for a new way of seeing things, as well as another perspective on life. This trip lasted for five years, reaching to visit all the continents of the world. The family visited all the communities of the planet reaching the Amazon, Lake Michigan, through the interior of Australia to the Kalahari desert (Africa), the Andes or the jungles of India. With this incredible and exciting journey the family manages to create an overwhelming cinematic experience, which explores the life of the most tribal communities showing different cultures and perspectives, as well as a reflection on the earthly wisdom belonging to our ancestors.
