Palestinian father and son get together after many years apart to come through with an important tradition for their people. Abu Shadi, a 60-year-old divorced professor, lives in Nazareth, where he is preparing his daughter's wedding. His son, an architect who has lived in Rome for many years, decides to come back home for the celebration, and will have to help him hand deliver the invitations for the nuptials door to door, an important Palestinian tradition that cannot be let pass. After spending so much time apart, father and son barely know each other, but they will have to overcome their differences to get the wedding moving forward. The film is written and directed by Palestinian filmmaker Annemarie Jacir, responsible for 'The salt of this sea'.
