El inconveniente

Sara (Juana Acosta) is about to buy the perfect house. It's beautiful and extremely cheap. However, such good deal usually comes with a but. The only "inconvenient" is that she must live with Lola (Kiti Mánver), the old proprietary of the house, and they must share it until the old woman dies. Nevertheless, Sara thinks is a really good deal. She just need to hold on until the dead of Lola. Sounds easy, doesn't it?

'El inconveniente' is the first long movie of Bernabé Rico as director. He has produced several documentaries and shor-films such as 'Murillo. El último viaje' o 'The Resurrection Club'. The movie has been filmed in Sevilla, and the story comes from a Theatre play called '100 m2'. It that has been traduced to six languages, and played at Alemania, Suiza, Italia, Grecia, Venezuela, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Chile and Australia's theaters. The author, Juan Carlos Rubio, has collaborated in the script with Bernabé Rico.

The film is starred by Juana Acosta ('Perfect Strangers', 'Hospital Central'), Kiti Mánver ('Los abrazos rotos', 'Cable Girls'), Carlos Areces ('The Last Circus', 'The Witches of Zugarramurdi'), José Sacristán ('Morocco: Love in Times of War', 'Magical Girl') and Daniel Grao ('Julieta', ' Julia's Eyes').
