A Man Called Otto

Otto is a curmudgeonly, strict middle-aged man who, stricken by grief after the loss of his wife, just wants to get it all over with. However, his life changes completely when a young family moves into the neighborhood, allowing Otto to meet Marisol, a giggly, witty pregnant woman with whom he forges an unlikely friendship.

The film is directed by Marc Forster ('Discovering Neverland') with the screenplay of the Academy Award nominee David Magee ('Life of Pi', 'Discovering Neverland'), which is based on the best-selling novel 'A Man Called Ove', written by Fredrik Backman, that the Swedish director and screenwriter Hannes Holm already adapted to the big screen as a successful movie back in 2015.

Tom Hans ('Philadelphia', 'Forrest Gump', 'Castaway') stars in the film, playing the unforgettable Otto, along with Mariana Treviño, who plays the character of Marisol. The rest of the cast includes actors and actresses such as Rachel Keller ('Fargo') and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo ('The Magnificent Seven'), Kailey Hyman, Cameron Britton, Mike Birbiglia, Lavel Schley, Elle Chapman, Josefine Lindegaard, Kelly Lamor Wilson, William Wilmoth, Juanita Jennings, Spenser Granese, Jon Donahue, Christiana Montoya, Kirk Kelly, and Josephine Valentina Clark.
