Come What May

In May 1940 the German troops enter France. Frightened by the advance of the enemy, the inhabitants of a small village in northern France decide to give up all their belongings and homes to take to the road and flee towards the coast. Among them is Paul, the village mayor, who seeks to direct and keep order among the nomadic group. He is accompanied by his wife, Mado, a young teacher named Suzanne and a small German boy of 8 years Max. Max's father, Hans, was arrested after the declaration of war but managed to escape. Accompanied by a Scottish officer, Percy, the two embark on a journey with different objectives but common destiny. Hans tries to get his son, while Percy is hoping to reach the sea and find a boat to take you back to the UK.
