Fotogramas
'Entre dos aguas' is pure cinema. Nothing of artificial neorealism but a necessary transparency that preserves in celluloid the truth and the anguish of a country. Isaki Lacuesta is social testimony and visual poetry.
El Mundo
Like reflections in the water. Emotive, noisy and, specially, alive. This is 'Entre dos aguas'.
ABC
The interesting thing about this work by Isaki Lacuesta is to appreciate how serious the director is in order to the documentary and the fiction devour each other.
El País
Lakuesta aims to create absolute authenticity, turn this story in a documentary without artifices, portray with anxiety of truth the personality, the expressiveness, the circumstances, the confusion and the feelings of this people. And he gets it. Another thing is if the viewer wants to be 140 minutes in their company.
