Plot
Chris Hemsworth stars in the sequel of 'Extraction', the action movie that was a hit at Netflix in 2020. 'Extraction 2' follows the mercenary in a new mission where he will put his life (very) in danger. This time he will have to rescue a Georgian gangster's family. They are in critical condition, kept in a prison, and the Australian is their only hope.
'Extraction 2' is directed by Sam Hargrave, director of the first installment. He works with a script written by Joe Russo, who also played this role in 'Extraction'. The Russo brothers, filmmakers in charge of titles such as 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier', 'Avengers: Infinity War' and 'Avengers: Endgame', are once again in charge of production through their studio, AGBO, with Chris Hemsworth and Sam Hargrave also producing alongside Mike Larocca, Angela Otstot, Patrick Newall, Eric Gitter and Peter Schwerin. Executive producers are Jake Aust, Benjamin Grayson, Steven Scavelli, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
Chris Hemsworth leads a main cast composed by Adam Bessa, Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Bernhardt, Tinatin Dalakishvili and Golshifteh Farahani, who reprises his character from the first installment, Nik Khan.
'Extraction 2' premieres worldwide in Netflix on June 16.
