Extraño Río

A sixteen-year-old teenager named Didac travels along one of the most important rivers in Europe, the Danube, by bicycle with his family. Amidst the heat and long days, an unexpected event turns their journey upside down. The appearance of a mysterious teenager in the waters of the river and his enigmatic presence causes Didac to reconsider things he had never thought about before. One of the first changes he experiences is in the relationship he shares with his family, which will change overnight after this strange occurrence.

Jaume Claret Muxart writes alongside Meritxell Colell and directs this dramatic feature film that touches on themes such as adolescence and family. This co-production between two countries, Spain and Germany, produced by Zuzú Cinema, Miramemira, and Schuldenberg Films, features a carefully crafted photographic section handled by the director of photography: Pablo Paloma.
