Family Switch

'Family Switch' is an American comedy directed by McG with script penned by Adam Sztykiel and Victoria Strouse, based on the book "Bedtime for Mommy" by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, published in 2010. The film, released by Netflix, stars Jennifer Garner and Ed Helms.

Jess (Garner) and Bill (Helms) Walker are two family parents who barely survive their teenage sons -CC and Wyatt- while they try to raise a newborn. Afraid that technology is tearing the family apart, the two parents decide to organize a family day out at the Los Angeles Planetarium. After some family arguing the five end up at the Observatory, where something similar at a shooting star seems to go over them.

The next morning, for all four the day most important of their lives, they wake up with their bodies switched: CC is in Jess and viceversa, Bill and Wyatt have changed... even the little Miles is now in the body of the dog. This will make them see that each other's lives aren't as easy as they seemed and, also, they will have to adapt in record time to a body which is not theirs to gain a work promotion, go through a College Interview, a contract with a mayor record label and a football try out.

The film was shot at the start of 2023 and received a PG-13 rating in the United States for "suggestive scenes". Then Netflix ordered to alter the edition to receive a PG.
