Plot
An intergalactic adventure decorared in the 23rd century , in a futuristic world . Commander John J. Adams (Leslie Nielsen) embarks on a journey to find out what happened to an expedition sent to the planet Altair IV. After his arrival he meets Robby ,the robot and Lieutenant Jerry Farman ( Jack Kelly ) and Lieutenant "Doc" Ostrow (Warren Stevens) . The Commander Adams will embark on an adventure where he will doubt everyone and where salvation is found in those who least imagined. At his adventure joins Morbius' daughter Altaira . 'Forbidden Planet' is a free version of Shakespeare's 'The Tempest'.
