Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die

A dark night. A restaurant crowded with overlapping conversations and lit screens. Suddenly, a man bursts in wielding a detonator and claiming he comes from the future. This is not the first time he has done this: it is the 117th time he returns to the exact same point in time with an identical mission. He always fails. He always comes back. This time, however, he swears it will be different.

As he explains, the apocalypse will not come in the form of explosions, but as a code: an uncontrolled artificial intelligence, fueled by hatred, misinformation, and addiction that proliferate on social media, is about to make irreversible decisions for humanity. To prevent this, he needs to immediately recruit an unlikely team: the customers of the restaurant. An exhausted waitress, a conspiracy theorist at the table, a teenage influencer, a disillusioned teacher, and a couple on the brink of breakup. None of them seem qualified. They would all prefer to think it’s a joke.

But time is running out. While outside the city continues its indifferent course, unsettling failures begin to manifest in phones, on screens, in reality itself. The algorithms take on unpredictable, almost monstrous forms, altering memories and perceptions. The time traveler struggles to maintain authority while his potential recruits doubt, argue, and confront their own contradictions.

Between absurdity and paranoia, the group must decide whether to trust a stranger who claims to have seen them die 116 times… or let the world move forward, unstoppable, towards an ending designed by their own clicks.
