Plot
'He called me Malala' is an intimate portrait of the Nobel Peace Prize Malala Yousafzai, who was targeted by the Taliban and was seriously wounded by a bullet as she was returning home on her school bus in the Swat Valley of Pakistan. The attack arised supporters around the world and with this support the 15 -year-old Malala decided, with the help of her father, advocating for girls' education. She miraculously survived and is now a prominent activist and co-founder of the Malala foundation.
Davis Guggenheim directed the acclaimed documentary which aims to support the work of this young woman who continues to fight for human rights and for a future in which girls of the Swat Valley can go to school without anyone stoping them.
