Headspace

The members of the Space Protection Force team, Sophie, Max and Gus, land on Earth due to an accident in their microscopic spacecraft. Specifically, they land on the head of Norman, a 16-year-old teenager. These aliens, who serve the peace of the universe, are tasked with forging the plans of the intergalactic villain Zolthard, who has taken over the mind control of Norman's school principal, Mrs. Witherington. In order to fight Zolthard,Gus, Max and Sophie must take control of the teenager's body, which causes Norman, his friends and the aliens to fight an intergalactic battle between evil and good without the rest of humanity and his school knowing about it.

'Headspace' is a South African film from Luma Animation. Directed by Gerhard Painter and Paul Meyer, this film tries to vindicate the ingenuity and the capacity that South Africa has to create great productions within this genre. Strongly inspired by Pixar's great animation classics such as 'Finding Nemo' or 'Toy Story',this film breaks geographical barriers and arrives in our theaters on September 1, 2023 thanks to Vercine.This film highlights the teamwork to try to achieve the goals that their main characters try to get and celebrate the differences that each person have.
