Stefan is a construction worker who is about to return to his home country, Romania. To say goodbye to his family and friends, Stefan cooks a large pot of soup filled with leftovers he had in the fridge as a gift. Just as he is about to leave for home, his car has problems, so he takes it in for repairs. During his wait, he meets Shuxiu, a young Chinese-Belgian woman who is preparing a doctorate on moss, which leaves Stefan stunned by the young woman, causing him to doubt whether to stay or leave.

This film is directed by Bas Devos ('Ghost Tropic'), who also handles the screenplay. The film stars Stefan Gota ('Prime Minister') as Stefan; and Liyo Gong ('The Truce') as the young doctoral student. The cast is completed by Teodor Corban ('4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days').

The director offers with this film the serenity of Brussels, capturing the urban and contemporary life of the city as a charm that is already characteristic of his films. Additionally, it portrays the appeal of many of the shared areas in the city where strangers can meet and start close relationships.
