Based on the iconic British TV series 'Horrible Histories' and Terry Deary's series of children's history books, known for their hilarious anecdotes and encouragement of learning through humour, comes 'Horrible Histories: The Movie - Rotten Romans'. Set during the age of the Roman Empire, 'Horrible Histories: The Movie - Rotten Romans' follows Atti (Sebastian Croft), a brainy Roman teenager and Orla, the daughter of Celtic tribe leader Arghus (Nick Frost) who wants nothing more than to be a warrior in her own right. After an unfortunate accident leads to Atti covering the dangerous (but petty) Roman Emperor Nero (Craig Roberts) in horse pee, he is forced to join the army bound for Britain to take on the fearsome Iceni warrior Boudicca (Kate Nash). Though Atti and Orla get off to a rough start, the two must work together and be willing to learn about each other's cultures if they want to survive the imminent Roman invasion in this historical romp through ancient history. 'Horrible Histories: The Movie - Rotten Romans' is directed by Dominic Brigstoke and written by Caroline Norris, Giles Pilbrow and Jessica Swale. Amongst the star-studded cast are Rupert Graves, Kim Cattrall, Alex Macqueen, Warwick Davis, Joanna Bacon, Lee Mack, Sanjeev Bhaskar and Alexander Armstrong. Hide full plot... Show full plot
