Hostages

Nika and Ana, two well-to-do young persons, are immersed in the preparations for their wedding. But the wedding is more than just a ceremony for them. While for their families their union is a great event, for Nika and Ana will be nothing more than a cover to carry out their plan to hijack an airplane, flee from the Soviet Union to Turkey and escape communism. But after taking off the plane, the pressure can with them and nothing ends up going as planned.

Movie describes real events that took place in 1983. The crisis ended with a storming of the airliner by Soviet special forces that resulted in eight dead. The surviving hijackers were subsequently tried and executed.
