In a Violent Nature

'In a Violent Nature', told from the point of view of a killer, is a supernatural slasher similar to 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' and 'Friday the 13th'. Written and directed by Chris Nash, the story follows a group of teenagers who are pursued by Johnny, a vengeful spirit motivated by a 60-year-old crime. Unknowingly, they revived his decomposing corpse by taking a locket from a collapsed fire tower in the woods, and Johnny is determined to recover the stolen necklace, even if it means killing the young men.

It is a must-see for horror film fans, a chilling and exciting journey through the evil mind of a serial killer. Starring Lauren-Marie Taylor ('Friday the 13th, Part 2'), Andrea Pavlovic, Ry Barrett, Liam Leone and Timothy Paul McCarthy, among others. Furthermore, this film caused a great impact at the 2024 Sundance Festival, causing vomiting and anxiety attacks among viewers.

The film will be released in theaters in the United States on May 31 distributed by IFC Films, before arriving on the Shudder platform internationally. It currently has an impressive 95% on Rotten Tomatoes and 7.0 average rating on IMDB with a 6.2 from the audience.. SelectaVisión will launch it in theaters on July 19 in Spain with a rating +18.
