Plot
Azalea Springs is a small, peaceful town in the state of Texas. There lives Alex, a woman married to an executive husband and she's a member of the Neighborhood Women's Association, which is dedicated to volunteer for charitable causes. In one of these cases, the association should help a hospital for HIV-positive people. Although Alex wants to help patients with HIV, the fact is that the other members are not for work, especially Sloan, a superficial and gossipy woman. At the hospital, Alex will be reunited with Grace, a nurse who was her schoolmate in high school. From this encounter will arise a love that will raise Alex her own life. Also in the hospital is hospitalized Bruce who is the couple of Spencer, both friends of Alex. During a party in town, Spencer, who had drunk a few more drinks, makes the rumor that he became homosexual after drinking tap water. This causes that Mark, a journalist of the local press and that goes to "reparative therapies" to stop being homosexual, begins to publish in the newspaper that directs his father the rumor, causing that the whole town wants to close the hospital and the homofobia is on the streets.
