Just to Be Sure

In his 40s and being a widower, after learning that his dear old dad is not, in fact, his biological father, Erwan Gourmelon (François Damiens) starts to look for his actual one. To help him with the task, he will employ a straight-talking lesbian detective. Besides, on the trip to meet his dad, he forms an instant and mutual attraction with a beautiful and somewhat prickly doctor he encounters en route, Anna Levkine (Cécile De France). She later turns out to be the man's daughter and therefore Erwan's potential half-sister. In the meantime, it won't take him long to get along with Joseph, his real father, a tender old man.

'Just to Be Sure' is directed by Carine Tardieu ('The Dandelions', 'In Mom's Head'), and written by herself along with Baya Kasmi, Michel Leclerc and Raphaële Moussafir.
