King

'King' is about a lion cub who, destined as he is to become part of a wild animal trafficking ring, manages to escape at an airport in France, but finds himself lost and alone. In search of refuge, he turns up at the home of Inés and Álex, two siblings who are twelve and fifteen years old respectively. The siblings come up with a crazy idea: they want to take him back to Africa and return him to his natural habitat, but everything will soon get complicated when the customs agents start to step on their heels with the intention of recovering the puppy. Then they will have to resort to the help of their grandfather Max, whom Inés and Álex have only seen twice in their lives, but who will not take long to join the adventure, because their grandfather, despite his eccentric and particular character, want to make sure the children's mission ends successfully.

'King' is an adventure and comedy feature film for the whole family, directed by David Moreau. The script was written by Jean-Baptiste Andrea, Gael Malry and the director himself. The cast includes Gérard Darmon, Lou Lambrecht, Léo Lorléac'h, Thibault de Montalembert, and Clémentine Baert. It is a French and Belgian production by producers Laurent Baudens, Didar Domehri, and Gaël Nouaille.
