In the vibrant Cologne of the 1970s, amidst avant-garde jazz, sound experimentation, and the awakening of a new European youth, a 17-year-old girl defies all conventions. Her name is Vera Brandes, and her passion for music leads her to become the youngest promoter in Germany. The film follows the journey of this determined young woman who, with a mix of naivety, boldness, and determination, manages to convince American pianist Keith Jarrett to perform at the Cologne Opera. However, nothing goes as planned: an out-of-tune piano, an impossible schedule, the musician's exhaustion, and a chain of logistical obstacles threaten to turn the event into a disaster. With just a few hours to save the concert, she faces technicians, directors, agents, and even Jarrett himself, in a struggle between youth and the system, between idealism and reality.
