Plot
'La madre' tells the story of Miguel, a 14-year-old kid who is been searching by the social services. His mother has no employ and an inestable social life, so she can not manage him. In order to avoid that her son goes to an orphanage, the mother forces her son to stay at the house of Bogdan, a Romanian man who had been his boyfriend and lives in a village in the nearby to their town. Everything will change for the main character when the mother disappears without an explanation.
The movie, which is directed by Alberto Morais, will be showed in the oficial section at the Valladolid International Film Festival 2016 (Seminci), after it was released at the Montreal International Film Festival.
