Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill

This telefilm directed by Lonny Price ('Company') shows the story of Eleanora Fagan, best known as Billie Holiday, and to who, afterwards, the people designate to nickname: Lady Day.

Lady Day was a singer and song-writer of jazz music. She was born in Philadelphia in 1915. She will starts her musical career in the year 1933 and finish with them in 1959, the same year in which she dies because cirrhosis of the liver with 44 years old.

Despite to part of her work like singer was bring to light after her death, Eleanora, in her life, gots have a big number of fans because her voice was transformed in a icon inside the jazz. However, her addiction to the drugs and the alcohol was affecting in his reputation.
