Listen to Me Marlon

This splendid documentary resorts to huge personal archive of Marlon Brando, including hundreds of hours of audio (recorded throughout his life) and countless photographs. Much of the material used in 'Listen To Me Marlon' is unpublished, and therein lies much of the value of the film. Throughout the footage we discover some of the hidden recesses at the Brando-behind-the-camera, that life away from the sets and displays. Thus, the documentary explores in depth the complexities of the artist, and makes it from an unexpected and brilliant way: Brando is the one who speaks, who says, reflecting on itself. Everything comes from a brandiescan perspective, from their own look and its own voice.
