Liza the Fox-Fairy

This movie is focused in the character of Liza (Mónika Balsai), a young nurse who looks after Marta Tanaka (Piroska Molnár), the widow of the Japanese ambassador in Hungary. The lead character has no friends and her only partner is Tomy Tani (David Sakurai), a ghost of a Japanese pop star from the 50s. The day when Liza is 30 years old, she starts dreaming about meeting the man of her life, but unexpectly she becomes the first suspected of some mortal crimes. This makes Liza begins thinking that a curse has become her in a demon of the Japanese culture.

This fantasy comedy directed by Károly Ujj Mészáros has been showed in some international film festivals such as the Edinburgh International Film Festival or Seattle International Film Festival.
