The film, with winks to 'Coming to America' and 'Welcome Mister Marshall!', suffers from lack of means in production and gags that do not always reach their goal.
ABC
A relaxed spectator, without a bug inside, soon discovers that nothing is broken by having fun, without anything more, with the simplicities and the many graces that these actors display.
Cinemanía
The film becomes, here and there, a parade of common places, jokes of party, that would not stop being innocent if it were not for a disturbing exaltation of an Andalusian folklorism that takes us back to past decades.
El Mundo
It is not so much counter-comedy (which is too), as a simple nonsense. The really meritorious thing is that not a single one deserves a tenth part of the subsidy that has received from the Ministry of Culture. Everything is wrong.
El País
