Luis and The Aliens

'Luis & the Aliens' tells the story of a loner 12-year-old boy who starts a beautiful friendship with three aliens whose spaceship has landed on his garden. Luis had always been interested in proving the existence of intelligent life on space, so they'll start a mutually beneficial friendship. In exchange for Luis' help to restart their spaceship in order to go back to their planet, the martians will help young Luis by letting him out of a boarding school and together they'll embark on a great adventure filled with laughter and a lot of emotions.

It's directed by the Lauenstein brothers, Christoph and Wolfgang. Both of them, born in Germany, won the Oscar for Best Animated Short with 'Balance' in 1989.
