Malú, ni un paso atrás

Curro Sánchez Varela, famous documentary filmmaker and winner of the Goya award for 'Paco de Lucia: La búsqueda' directs 'Malú, ni un paso atrás'. This documentary focuses on the figure of the famous singer María Lucía Sánchez Benítez, known popularly like Malú . She began her career in 1998 and has achieved great success as 'Aprendiz ' or ' Blanco y Negro'. The film takes us to the figure of Malú from a plane hitherto unknown, where we see a closer Malú, knowing her passions, fears, desires and concerns. Belonging to a family of artists, she is the daughter of singer Pepe de Lucía and niece of iconic guitarist Paco de Lucia. We know in depth her evolution both personally and professionally, from how she started to have become one of the most successful Spanish artists.
