Isidro Marcelino Orbés Casanova was known as Marcelino, the best clown of the world, "Marcelino, the clown?. He was born in Jaca, Aragón (Spain), but he was successful in London at beginning of the twentieth century. His best professional moments were between 1905 and 1912, traveling with his performance around Spain, Europe and United States. He performed in The Hippodrome in London, the biggest theatre at the time with 5200 seats. Marcelino was a clown and and acrobat that inspired Charles Chaplin ('The Great Dictator') and admired by Buster Keaton ('The General'), two legends from silent cinema.

His decline began with the beginning of the cinema industry. Marcelino had a tragic ending, In New York in 1927, he took his own life.

His story has been unknown in Spain until a journalistic investigation discovered him. now, his life is told on the big screen. This docu-fiction film is directed by Germán Roda ('Goya S.XXXI', 'Los años del humo') and starring Pepe Viyuela ('Matadero', 'Olmos y Robles'). The cast also includes Cristina Gallego, Laura Gómez-Lacueva ('The Candidate'), Angelo Crotti, Alberto Castrillo-Ferrer ('El encamado'), Nacho Rubio ('The Footballest') and Salomé Jiménez ('Tensión no resuelta'). This film is based in the investigation book written by Mariano García (journalist from the newspaper Heraldo de Aragón). The script is done by Germán Roda and Miguel Ángel Lamata ('The Footballest').
