Plot
The artist, rapper and author Abd Al Malik makes his debut as a director and screenwriter in this film, which is the adaptation of his autobiography written in 2004. The story tells how the rapper, played by Marc Zinga, enters the world of the street and of drugs in Strasbourg. The discovery of hip hop and religion is an essential turn in your life and get changed forever. Abd Al Malik also plays the music, along with Bilal, Laurent Garnier and Wallen. The film debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival and won the FIPRESCI - Discovery Award. In addition, he won two nominations for the French film awards, the Césars, including Best First Feature.
