Memories of the Wind

'Memories of the Wind' is focused in the genocide of the Armenians in Turkey which took place in 1915. This movie is set in Istanbul in 1943, where Aram lives. This character visits a friend who works at a magazine which has published an article about the collision of Turkey with Germany at the nazi's era. Aram's friend warns him that he should scape from the country because there is the possibility that there would be a second genocide. In this situation, Aram decides to cross the border to go to the soviet Georgia in order to take refuge. There he will stay in a house where two people from Rusia live, Mikhail, an old man with a hostile character, and Mereyem, a young girl who is his servant and who Aram will feel attracted by. During his stay in the mountains, Aram writes poetry and thinks about the way of getting away.

This movie was released in the Atlantida Film Fest 2016.
