Plot

A young and talented writer portrayed by Jenna Ortega embarks on a creative journey when her teacher (Martin Freeman) assigns her a project that will plunge them both into a plot from which it will be difficult to emerge. As the boundaries of their relationship blur and confuse teacher and student, their lives begin to intertwine.

Both will have to face their own fears and desires while trying to preserve what they most want, as well as their personal goals.

Ortega plays Cairo after featuring in films like 'Scream', 'X', and the successful Netflix series 'Wednesday'. Meanwhile, Freeman will be Professor Jonathan Miller after embodying famous characters in 'The Hobbit' and 'Sherlock'.

'Miller's Girl' is directed and written by Jade Halley Bartlett and also stars actors like Bashir Salahuddin, Gideon Adlon, Dagmara Dominczyk, and Christine Adams. A story about a complicated relationship that must confront uncomfortable realities and many conflicting emotions.

Will they be able to resist the chemistry that makes them want to get closer to each other? Should they? The plot will become much more challenging as the story of this teacher and his student progresses. Brought to you by Good Universe, Point Grey Pictures, and Lions Gate Films.
