Plot
One summer night in an Irish country mansion in 1880. 'Miss Julie' explores the power struggle between a young aristocrat and servant of his father. In a festive atmosphere where social barriers have disappeared, Julia and John dance and drink, get seduced and manipulated. The two are united by a desire and a mutual repulsion. Seductive and tender, or brutal and savage, their intimate moments push them to make desperate plans and dream of being in this life together. Adaptation of the play by August Strindberg, and directed by the famous Norwegian actress Liv Ullmann.
