Susana Nicchiarelli directs this biopic about Eleanor 'Tussy' Marx, Karl Marx's small daughter. 'Miss Marx' shows how Eleanor was one of the first feminists who also fought for labor rights and for the end of child work. Besides showing how her father and Engels inspired her to fight for real changes in society, 'Miss Marx' shows how her personal life is a complete mess, mainly because she's attracted to Edward Aveling, a man who supposes everything she's against. Romola Garai becomes Eleanor Marx in the film, Patrick Kennedy plays Edward Aveling, John Gordon Sinclair is Friedrich Engels and Philip Gröning plays Karl Marx. 'Miss Marx' has earned eleven David di Donatello awards, including best picture, and was part of the Venice Film Festival 2020 competition.
