Plot
The film 'My Extraordinary Summer with Tess' is based on Anna Woltz's young adult novel. Directed by Steven Wouterlood, who was focused on short films and TV ads until now, the film wants to show the value of friendship and family through the story of Sam and Tess. Sam is an eleven year old boy who travels to an island in the Netherlands to spend the summer. He wants to learn how to spend time by himself, but he meets a girl named Tess, full of energy. She will take him on an adventure, while she keeps a secret that will have Sam very interested in.
