Neerja

Based on true events, it tells the story of a young hero. September 1986, Neerja Bhanot is a stewardess of 22 years-old who's working for Pan American World Airways. Like all her routines, she takes a flight between Mumbai and New York. However, this flight is different. The plane was hijacked by four terrorists after landing in Karachi, Pakistan. She managed to alert the cabin crew, who fled and left the packed airliner adrift. That's when Neerja decides to take control of the flight and protect passengers. She decided to confront terrorists belonging to Abu Nidal organization and had the support of the Libyan regime. Neerja sacrifices herself to save that of the 359 passengers on Pan Am flight 73.
