Old Mother Snow

'The fairy of the seasons' is the result of joining three short films from France, with three stories with determined, courageous and persevering protagonists. Directed by Célia Tisserant, 'The Seasons Fairy' ('Dame saisons') introduces us to Thumbelina and Meñica, two sisters who live in the forest with their mother. Thumbelina's arrival of adolescence has taken away the desire to collaborate with the household chores and because of her rebellion, little Meñica is forced to carry the responsibilities of the three when her mother is injured while working. One day, while she is gathering wood in the forest, Meñica will discover the fantastic world of the Fairy of the seasons, who will introduce her to the wonders that only nature can offer us.

'The red-haired chick' ('Le Petit Poussin roux'), also by Célia Tisserant, places us in a farm full of chicks where they are preparing delicious muffins. The aroma of cake wafts through the corral, but before they even come out of the oven, all the treats have already been assigned an owner. However, that does not stop the red-haired chick who decides to put his culinary skills to the test and follow the farmer's recipe step by step to get his own tasty muffins.
