Oreina

The next film by the Basque filmmaker Koldo Almandoz, 'Oreina', has been filmed entirely in Basque for sixweeks in Aginaga, Orio, Usurbil, Oiartzun, Donostia, Hernani and Tolosa, all locations in Guipuzcoa. It is a production of Txintxua Films, in collaboration with ETB, the Basque Government and the ICAA, which is scheduled for release on September 28, 2018 thanks to the distribution in Spain of Golem Distribución.

'Oreina', which in Spanish means "stag", introduces us to the story of two brothers who, after spending years without speaking, share a family home. It is a film where nature, urban and industrial are mixed together, while we witness the development of the coexistence of two very different people.
