The song
The first song of the closing credits is written by director Joon-ho Bong himself and sung by lead actor Woo-sik Choi.
Visual Effects
The iconic Park and Kim family homes were designed and created from scratch on massive stages in Korea. Over 1,400 VFX were used to bring these environments to life and over 130,000 gallons of water were used to flood the Kims' home.
Cast choice
Director Bong Joon-ho chose the actors Song Kang-ho and Choi Woo-shik before any other member in the cast and while he was still writing the script.
